How To Set up and Sync Arlo Wire-Free Cameras
Now when you are ready to setup your new Arlo cameras, here are the instructions that apply to setting up Arlo Wire-Free cameras with both Arlo base stations and Arlo Pro base stations. Arlo setup is fairly easy being a DIY security system and in most cases, it goes seamless. There can be situations when you may not be able to get through this easy Arlo camera setup procedure due to some camera software/ firmware or network issues. 1: Unlock the battery by sliding and pressing the latch.
2: Slide the battery door backward and lift it up to open up the battery compartment and put in the batteries.
3: Position the camera close (approx 30ft) to the base station for the sync process.
4: Sync the Camera with the Base Station:
If you are using an Arlo base station, press the Sync button present on the side or on the back of the base station for around two seconds and then let go of the button, the sync status LED will appear green. Now press the Sync button on top of the camera for around two seconds and the blue led will blink fast and then it will become stable. Your camera is in sync and now you can sync other cameras one by one
If the LED on the camera flickers amber, the sync is not complete & you must attempt the sync process again.
- Verify the camera LED on the base station.
- If the camera LED on the base station turns solid green, the sync process is finished.

Arlo Camera Setup and sync using Web Browser
Setting up Arlo through a web browser is self-explanatory and is a guided platform for a convenient setup to help you build smart home security. The instructions remain the same given on the physical setup but you time it according to the browser prompts. Please make sure your computer is connected to the same network you would like to connect to your Arlo camera. In case you are not able to sync cameras, dial Arlo support phone number and avail free set up support via phone.
1: Put the batteries and power on your camera and base station. Also, connect the base station to your router.
2: On your computer, open the browser and go to https://arlo.netgear.com Select new to Arlo and select your device,
Note: select base station first if you are using the base and you can do setup before this by syncing cameras to base or sync with this process one by one.
3: Position the camera close if you have not done the sync earlier using buttons. Follow onscreen instructions to sync the base and it will be discovered automatically.
4: Name the base station and now if you already did the camera sync earlier you will have the live view. If not, then sync cameras by adding devices from the browser and follow onscreen instructions.

5: For cameras without a base simply select your device model and follow onscreen instructions. Once setup is done name your cameras and now you should be good to install cameras to the desired location.

How To Set up and Sync Arlo GO
Arlo Go is one of the best and operates with a sim card. Arlo cameras are shipped with SIM cards installed and activated. The SIM card comes with enough minutes of video for you to see how the camera works. Download and install the Arlo app on your phone before you begin the setup.
1 Unlock the battery compartment by pressing and holding the latch. Gently pull the battery door back to open the compartment.
2 Insert the SD card if you want and put in batteries and close the compartment.
3 Use the Arlo app and your Arlo account to set up your Arlo Go camera. If you already set up an Arlo account, you can add the Arlo Go camera to your account. During setup, your Arlo Go camera must be connected to the Arlo mobile network.
4 After you add your Arlo Go camera to your Arlo account, you can place the Arlo Go camera anywhere in the Arlo mobile’s network coverage area. make sure the sim card provider you are using should have good network coverage in the area where the camera will be installed. How To Set up and Sync Arlo Q or Q plus
Connect options for Arlo Q Plus camera to the Internet
Power over Ethernet (PoE). Connect the Arlo Q Plus camera to a PoE switch using the included PoE adapter if you want to power and connect the Arlo camera to the Internet with a single cable.
For WiFi Connect the Arlo Q Plus camera to your router using WiFi and power the camera with the included micro USB cable and power adapter.
Ethernet. Connect the Arlo Q Plus camera to your router with Ethernet, but power the camera with the included micro USB cable and power adapter.
Connect With Ethernet
1. Connect the PoE adapter to the back of your camera.
2. Connect your own Ethernet cable to the PoE adapter.
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an Ethernet switch or a router.
4. Connect the included micro USB cable to the side of the PoE adapter.
5. Connect the other end of the micro USB cable to the USB power adapter.
